I had P圜harm pro and used it for nearly a year. Comparisons? Also, VS Code has better git integration in my opinion, so I use VS Code. Why? The other has a lot more power and functions.I use both, really. I use a lot of other JetBrains IDEs and can only say good things about them. C++? I still use vim for small stuff and especially on remote machines, but if I'm working on a large product I want to be able to manage it effectively. It's open source, free, and just as good.However Notepad++ is perfectly fine. Okay, I open Sublime Text because the startup time is a lot faster than VSCode for me :v I don't really see myself using VSCode for big projects, because for that I use Pycharm, and I don't see myself using it for one-off scripts, because my script isn't worthy enough to deserve all of VSCode's features.I personally use P圜harm pro after outgrowing P圜harm community.
